FAQ

Research Peptide Raw Material: Questions and Answers

The questions a procurement desk asks before a first order, answered directly. Where a number appears it is one of the facts confirmed for this site; where a figure depends on your order, the answer says so and points you to the quotation.

Identity

Names, CAS numbers and what the page facts mean

Why is the CAS number in the page address?

Because it is the one name for a substance that cannot be stretched. Trade names vary between suppliers; a CAS Registry Number does not. Putting it in the address means a buyer searching by CAS lands on the right page, and the quotation, the label and the certificate all carry the same number.

Where do the molecular weights come from?

From PubChem, for the compound identifier (CID) shown in each identity table. The certificate for a lot reports the measured molecular-weight result, which should sit close to the PubChem value; the compound page links the PubChem record so the comparison takes one click.

What if a compound has more than one CAS number?

Both are shown. CJC-1295 without DAC is indexed under two numbers that resolve to the same PubChem record, and the DAC form has its own. The page names each so a purchase order can quote whichever your system uses.

Do you state the salt form or net peptide content?

The certificate reports purity and identity. Salt form and net content are stated on the quotation when you ask for them, so say on the enquiry if your work needs net peptide content rather than gross weight.

Ordering

Minimums, formats and quotations

What is the minimum order?

For vials, a sample order is 1 kit (10 vials) in one fill. For raw powder, 5 g. For private-label OEM vials under your own label, 50 kits (500 vials), because an OEM run is planned as a production batch rather than drawn from stock.

Which formats exist?

Two. Weighed raw powder in a sealed container, quoted per gram from 5 g and dispatched cold-chain; and lyophilized vials with a stated fill, ten vials per kit, quoted per kit. The fills that exist for each compound are listed on its page and on the compounds page.

Can I mix compounds and formats in one order?

Yes. Write one line per compound and per format, each by CAS number. A mixed order ships together unless you ask for a split, so the window is set by the longest line.

Do you publish prices?

No. Raw powder is quoted per gram and vials per kit on a written quotation for the compound, format, quantity and destination you name.

What does the quotation contain?

The compound by CAS number, the format and quantity, the typical lead-time window that applies, the packing, the documents supplied, the delivery basis and, for allocated stock, the lot reference. It is the document that governs the order; this website is not.

How do I send an enquiry?

Through the WhatsApp button, which opens a quote request started for you, or by email (email the sales desk). Put the compound and quantity in the first line. Replies come from Pepti Supply, the manufacturer's sales desk, during Guangzhou business hours (GMT+8).

Documentation

Certificates, records and testing

What documentation comes with a lot?

A certificate of analysis issued for that lot number, reporting chromatographic purity by HPLC, a molecular-weight result from mass spectrometry, and the manufacturing, test and retest dates. The quality page explains each field.

Where are the public batch records?

In the manufacturer's public COA library. Each compound page on this site mirrors the records for that compound in a batch table: lot, fill, HPLC purity, MS molecular weight and test date.

Can I see the certificate before I pay?

For allocated stock, yes; the quotation names the lot and its record is public. For made-to-order material the certificate is issued when the lot is tested; say on the enquiry if you need it before dispatch.

Does the certificate state the fill mass per vial?

It states the nominal fill. HPLC purity is a proportion of the sample analysed and does not measure fill mass. Weigh on receipt if your process depends on the exact figure.

Is independent testing allowed?

It is encouraged. Send a portion of a sample kit or powder order to a laboratory of your choosing with the lot number. If their result disagrees with the certificate, report it against the lot.

Which certificates are not published?

No GMP certificate and no DMF. Pepti does not present itself as a cGMP drug-substance manufacturer or a CDMO and publishes no GMP certificate or DMF. It publishes batch records. If your procurement rules require a different document, say so before a quotation is prepared.

Shipping and handling

Lead times, packing and storage

How long does an order take?

Typically 3–7 days for a sample kit, 10–14 days for a production batch and 14–18 days for an OEM repeat batch, counted after specification and payment confirmation; not a fixed commitment. The quotation states the window for your order.

Is raw powder shipped cold-chain?

Yes. Raw powder orders are packed cold-chain. Vial kits are packed for the route and season as stated on the quotation.

Which countries do you ship to?

The destination is confirmed per order on the quotation. Import rules are the buyer's responsibility to confirm; this site does not advise on whether a jurisdiction admits a given material.

How should the material be stored on arrival?

Closed, cold, dark and dry, unopened until use, and logged with its lot number and retest date. The storage and retest guide covers inventory practice in detail. No use instructions are given on this site.

What is the retest date?

The date by which held material should be re-examined, printed on the certificate. It is not an expiry date. Public records show a retest date two years after manufacture.

Company and scope

Who makes it and what is out of scope

Who manufactures the material?

Pepti, a peptide manufacturer in Guangzhou, operating from No. 18 Zhenliangyuan 2nd Road, Zhongluotan Town, Baiyun District, Guangzhou. Bulk Peptide Works is its raw-material storefront for non-GLP-1 compounds.

Is this a reseller?

No. The material, the batch records and the photographs are Pepti's own. The relationship is stated on every page.

Do you supply GLP-1 compounds?

Not from this site. It is limited to non-GLP-1 research peptides so that each page can be deep rather than broad.

Do you supply cosmetic-grade ingredients?

Not from this site. GHK-Cu is listed here as research-use raw material only; cosmetic-grade supply for formulators is a separate enquiry.

Do you sell to individuals or give guidance on use?

No to both. Supply is to qualified business and research buyers, for research use only, not for human or veterinary use, and no application or medical guidance is given however the question is phrased.

Can I visit the production site?

Visits can be arranged for buyers planning a standing supply. Ask through the RFQ channel and say what you would like to see.

A question not answered here?

Ask it with the compound and quantity you have in mind. Specific questions get specific answers, with the lot record attached where one applies.

Prefer email? You can email the sales desk; put the compound and quantity in the subject line.
