Research peptide raw material
Kisspeptin-10 Raw Material Supplier
Kisspeptin-10 is the amidated decapeptide Tyr-Asn-Trp-Asn-Ser-Phe-Gly-Leu-Arg-Phe-NH2, also written Kp-10 or metastin (45–54). Pepti supplies it as cold-chain raw powder from 5 g or as lyophilized vials in 5 mg and 10 mg fills, ten to a kit. Two public batch records are listed, one per fill, each with an HPLC purity result and a molecular-weight result.
Also known as Kp-10, Metastin (45–54). Supplied by Bulk Peptide Works, manufactured by Pepti, Guangzhou.
Identity
Kisspeptin-10 and the longer sequences it is cut from
Kisspeptin-10 is ten residues, Tyr-Asn-Trp-Asn-Ser-Phe-Gly-Leu-Arg-Phe, with an amide rather than a free acid at the carboxyl end. The registry number is CAS 374675-21-5, the PubChem entry is CID 25240297, the formula is C63H83N17O14 and the molecular weight is 1302.4 g/mol. The alternative names, Kp-10 and metastin (45–54), say the same thing in different ways: this is the carboxyl-terminal ten residues of a fifty-four-residue parent sequence that the literature calls metastin or kisspeptin-54.
The parent sequence and the intermediate fragments, which carry their own numbers such as kisspeptin-13 and kisspeptin-14, are separate substances with separate registry numbers and larger masses. They are not what this page offers, and a quotation that names kisspeptin without the 10 should be queried. The amide also matters. A decapeptide with the same sequence and a free-acid terminus is a different compound and would differ by about one mass unit, a difference that a routine molecular-weight result will not settle on its own, which is why the CAS number and the written sequence belong on the order together.
With ten residues, the identity check is the usual one: a molecular-weight result consistent with 1302.4 g/mol read against the CAS number, and a chromatogram whose main peak is that material. The CAS number does not fix the counter-ion or the water in a freeze-dried cake, both of which add to the weighed mass; if your figure needs to be net peptide, say so and the quotation states its basis. This page is written for a procurement reader and covers naming, the certificate, formats, the order route and handling. It does not say what Kisspeptin-10 does. Kisspeptin-10 is supplied for research use only.

The two public Kisspeptin-10 lots
The Pepti library holds two public Kisspeptin-10 records, one for a 5 mg fill and one for a 10 mg fill. They report purity results of 98.71% and 99.23%, a published range of 98.71% to 99.23% so far. Each carries a molecular-weight result from mass spectrometry, a manufacturing date, a test date and a retest date around two years on. The figures belong to those two lots; the next lot carries its own.
The molecular-weight result on a Kisspeptin-10 certificate is read against 1302.4 g/mol. A mass-spectrometry reading and a calculated average molecular weight are not the same number and are not expected to agree to the decimal; what the buyer is checking is that the result sits in the region of the decapeptide and not at the mass of a shorter fragment or of the much larger parent sequence. The purity figure says how much of the chromatogram is the main peak. Neither says how much material is in the vial as a measured fill, what the water or counter-ion content is, or whether endotoxin or bioburden was tested; the public summaries do not include those lines, and buyers who need them commission them against the lot number.
Ask for the record before you pay. Where stock is allocated the quotation names the lot and its row in the batch table on this page is already readable; where the lot is in production the certificate is issued on the same template after testing and travels with the order. The quality page describes the template, and the guide on comparing raw-material quotations explains why a purity figure without a lot number behind it is not worth much.
Ordering
Kisspeptin-10: enquiry to dispatch in five steps
Every step produces a document that belongs with the lot number.
-
Decide powder or vials, and how much
Raw powder is quoted per gram from 5 g and travels cold-chain. Vials are quoted per kit of ten in 5 mg and 10 mg fills; 1 kit (10 vials) is the sample order and a private-label OEM run starts at 50 kits (500 vials). Mixed enquiries are normal.
-
Give the country and list the documents
Destination decides carrier, customs paperwork and packing. Say whether you want the certificate before payment, whether your file needs a particular report layout and whether your inventory cycle needs more than the standard retest date.
Admissibility at the destination is the buyer's responsibility. The quotation describes goods and documents and gives no import advice.
-
Compare the quotation with the public lot
The quotation identifies Kisspeptin-10 by CAS 374675-21-5, states format, fill, quantity and the typical window, and names the lot where stock is allocated. Read the lot record for purity, molecular-weight result and fill before you confirm.
-
Confirm and allow the typical window
Sample kits typically ship in 3–7 days after specification and payment confirmation. Production batches typically run 10–14 days; OEM repeat batches typically 14–18 days. The quotation states which window applies; each is typical, not fixed.
-
Check the parcel against the certificate
Match the lot number on every vial or container to the certificate, count, weigh where you can, photograph the labels, and log lot, receipt date and retest date. Raise any mismatch with the lot number and the photographs; it is settled from the record.
Kisspeptin-10 powder or vials
Same production, same certificate template; the difference is who does the weighing.
| If you | Order | Because |
|---|---|---|
| Weigh and fill in your own laboratory | Raw powder from 5 g | Quoted per gram and sent cold-chain; one lot stretches across many of your own units |
| Send sealed units to several sites | Vials, 5 mg or 10 mg, kits of ten | Each vial carries lot and fill, so per-unit custody is a label check |
| Are checking Pepti against your current source | 1 kit (10 vials) of one fill | Both fills have a public record to set beside the certificate you already hold |
| Want vials under your own label | From 50 kits (500 vials) | A production batch, documented lot by lot, reordered on the OEM window |
Undecided buyers put both formats on one enquiry and compare the two quotations.

Handling
Storing Kisspeptin-10 until its retest date
Kisspeptin-10 ships as a dry solid: a freeze-dried cake in a stoppered, capped vial, or weighed powder in a sealed container inside cold-chain packing. The handling rule is unchanged from the rest of the range: closed container, cold, dark, opened only when needed and never cycled between warm and cold. A decapeptide with a tryptophan residue is held out of light as a matter of routine, and the routine is the same whether the container is a vial or a powder jar.
The retest date on the certificate is the date by which held material should be re-examined; it is not an expiry and it is not extended retrospectively. Log the lot number, the receipt date and the retest date when the parcel arrives, and review the entry when the date comes round. Nothing here is an instruction for use. The storage and retest guide covers the general rule and the supplier qualification checklist covers what to ask a supplier about retest before the first order.
Who this page is for
Three Kisspeptin-10 enquiries
-
01
A laboratory needing a second source for the decapeptide amide
You hold Kisspeptin-10 from another supplier and want a lot with a public certificate to compare. A kit in the fill you already use is the smallest order with a lot number; powder follows once the certificates match.
-
02
A distributor extending a range of amidated peptides
Kisspeptin-10 is quoted alongside Ipamorelin and the other amidated sequences on the compound index. One manufacturer for the set means one certificate layout and one lot-number pattern; put the lines on one enquiry and the longest window sets dispatch.
-
03
A brand owner planning own-label vials
Private-label runs begin at 50 kits (500 vials), are planned as a production batch, documented lot by lot and reordered on the OEM window of typically 14–18 days. The order photos show a finished kit; artwork and cartons are agreed after the quotation.
What this page does not claim
Pepti does not present itself as a cGMP drug-substance (API) manufacturer or CDMO and does not publish a GMP certificate or DMF.
Kisspeptin-10 is supplied for research use only and not for human or veterinary use. Nothing on this page describes an effect, a protocol or a use; a buyer who needs that information is on the wrong site.
Kisspeptin-10 supply questions
Is Kisspeptin-10 the same as metastin?
No. Metastin is the fifty-four-residue parent sequence; Kisspeptin-10 is its carboxyl-terminal ten residues with an amide terminus, which is why one of its names is metastin (45–54). The two have different registry numbers and very different masses. This page supplies the decapeptide amide, CAS 374675-21-5, at 1302.4 g/mol.
What do the two public Kisspeptin-10 records report?
One lot at 5 mg with a purity result of 98.71% and one at 10 mg with a purity result of 99.23%, each with a molecular-weight result and a test date, both in the batch table on this page. They describe those two lots, not every lot; the record for the lot named on your quotation is the one that applies.
What is the minimum Kisspeptin-10 order?
5 g of raw powder quoted per gram and shipped cold-chain, or 1 kit (10 vials) in the 5 mg or 10 mg fill. Both carry a lot number and a certificate. Own-label OEM vials start at 50 kits (500 vials) because they are produced as a batch.
Does the certificate state the amide form?
The certificate identifies the material by name and CAS number, and CAS 374675-21-5 is the amidated decapeptide; the molecular-weight result is read against the 1302.4 g/mol figure for that form. The free-acid decapeptide would be a different compound with a different registry number, and it is not what the Pepti records describe.
